A automated product render pipeline is a digital system build with the purpose of rendering out custom designs for your products.
This will make it easier to render out multiple designs every night when your workers aren’t using their computers for other projects.

Quick Menu:
How it works
The pipeline is made up of multiple scripted parts.
- A script (Javascript Json) opens all custom designs to change them in usable texture file formates (in the example these are PDF files that were exported as JPG files). This is done by extracting the files from folder A, exporting them to folder B and cleaning folder A when it is done.
- A script (Python) opens scene 1 and imports all JPG files in folder B, one at a time, and renders the mesh with the given JPG file as texture. After completing all assigned camera angles it changes the texture to the next JPG file.
The Concept
The Pro’s
- A system in which the Sales and Operation department could drop a design in a drive folder to have renders from that design the next day.
- Exact and consistent system. Every collection of renders uses the same angles thus have the same quality.
- It’s automated, saving you precious minutes or hours of work.
- The system is easy to use and has built in safety nets for things like having a wrong input file.
